Christmas tree coloring pages

About these christmas tree pages

A Christmas tree is one of the first holiday pictures children want to color. The easy pages here have a big star, a few large ornaments and thick lines, so even a 3-year-old can color inside the shapes. The medium page puts the tree in a cozy living room with a fireplace and stockings, and the detailed trees are covered in patterned ornaments and garlands for older kids and adults.

A simple trick for little hands: color the tree green first, then add the ornaments in bright colors on top, and leave the star yellow or gold. For a sparkly finish, add glitter glue to the ornaments once the coloring is dry.

These pages make easy December activities for school parties, a quiet afternoon or a holiday table. Print a few the week before Christmas and turn the finished ones into homemade cards. For more winter pages, see snowmen, penguins and snowflakes on the winter page.
