About the flag of Bolivia
What it means: An 1888 decree says red stands for the blood of the nation's heroes, yellow for its wealth and resources, and green for its rich natural areas and hope.
Did you know? Even though Bolivia has no coastline, it has a navy that patrols rivers and lakes, with its own naval flag.
