About the flag of Guinea-Bissau
What it means: The black star stands for PAIGC leadership and for the people of Africa. Yellow and green represent the northern savannas and southern forests, and both point to farming.
Did you know? The flag of Ghana inspired its design, and both use the Pan-African colors red, yellow and green.
