Sierra Leone flag coloring page
Sierra Leone's flag is a simple tricolour of green, white and blue horizontal bands. Its colors were taken from the country's coat of arms, which was designed first. It first flew at midnight on 27 April 1961, independence day, replacing a British Blue Ensign.

About the flag of Sierra Leone
What it means: Green stands for farming, natural resources and the mountains. White stands for unity and justice. Blue recalls the harbour at Freetown, the capital, and a hope of helping world peace.
Did you know? The flag looks almost the same as the flag of Galápagos Province in Ecuador, which uses only slightly darker shades.
