About the flag of Sri Lanka
What it means: The lion and maroon stand for the Sinhalese, the orange stripe for Tamils, and the green stripe for Sri Lankan Moors. The four bo leaves stand for four Buddhist virtues.
Did you know? The four bo leaves in the corners replaced four spearheads that appeared on the older version of the flag.
