About the flag of Timor-Leste
What it means: Under the 2002 constitution, yellow is the country's wealth and black is ignorance to be overcome. Red is the struggle for liberation, and the white star is a guiding light of peace.
Did you know? The constitution calls the white star the light that guides, and says one point should face the upper left corner.
