About these heart pages

Hearts are one of the first shapes children learn to draw, which makes them great first coloring pages. The easy pages (a heart inside a heart, a smiling heart, a heart balloon, scattered hearts) have thick lines for ages 3 to 6. The medium pages add flowers, wings and swirling patterns, and the detailed pages, a heart mandala and a heart made of roses, are made for older kids and adults.

Pink and red are the classics, but a rainbow heart, coloring each section a different color, is a fun way to practice color names. For the mandala heart, pick two or three colors and repeat them in rings.

Heart pages are perfect for Valentine's Day cards, Mother's Day and thank-you notes. Color a page, fold it in half and write a message inside.
