Valentine's Day pages double as homemade cards, so these are made to be given away. The easy pages (a big heart with a bow, a teddy bear holding a heart, a box of chocolates, a love-letter envelope, cute animals with hearts) have thick lines for ages 3 to 6. The medium pages add roses, a heart wreath, a mailbox full of valentines and animal couples, and the detailed pages, a heart mandala, a rose bouquet and a lace heart, are for older kids and adults.

Pink, red and purple are the classic Valentine colors, but a heart colored in every color of the rainbow makes a cheerful card too. Glitter glue on the hearts and a short message on the back turn any page into a card.
